Description

With a frustrated huff at the gigantic succubus’ obstinance, Ginna made the quick motions of magic-manipulation and immediately began surging skyward at a dizzying rate. In the span of a single, large, breath she visibly outsized the titanic temptress that was Venus, whom ginna wasted no time in laying into.

“VENUS!” She shouted loudly, angrily, and sharply, “We’ve been over this! I will NOT allow you to grow to such sizes and endanger everyone around, not to mention the impossible standards for women your antics are setting for my son!”

“Hmph!” Venus snorted poutily with her arms crossed and nose in the air, “He is FAR better off with me than with any lowly Human or Elf. I’ve seen the way they treat him, or rather mistreat him, through his own eyes no less! But you can’t expect such a sweet, young thing to tell his boring, dowdy mother everything that goes on.”

“What do you mean ‘through his own eyes’?” Ginna asks before putting two and two together and furiously shouting at the succubus, “YOU’VE INVADED HIS MIND, HAVEN’T YOU?! YOU DESPICABLE DEVIL! YOU *WILL* ANSWER FOR THAT!”

“So unbecoming for such a ‘distinguished’ wizardess,” Venus taunted, adding extra sarcastic emphasis to her description of Ginna, “And it’s not invading if he invited me. I still can’t believe he came from you; his mind is soooooo beautiful and his body… mmm…. just yumm.”

Venus let out a few soft, sensual coos to accentuate the intent of her words, sparking the bickering to ever higher levels.

“Ohhhhhh…..” Evvo whines, way back on the ground as he watches the two go back and forth, “I’m gonna be in sooooo much trouble.I just don’t get why Momma hates Venus so much… It’s like she has more energy, anger, and power than I ever knew she had whenever Venus is around”

An empty can, flying by his head and barely grazing his ear, interrupted Evvo’s internal musings. In response to the unexpected projectile he jumped up and spun around, his highly-tuned reflexes landing him in a ready-to-run position. As he looked in the direction the can had come from, he saw a large crowd of angry people before him, clearly threatening violence against the teen-aged Half-Elf.

“Kill him now!” a voice shouts out from the mob, “That way he can’t bring any more monsters into the world. Otherwise it’s just a matter of time before he has an army of demons under his control!”

“No!” Evvo shouted back in desperation as his eyes darted back and forth looking for an escape route, “You don’t understand. I don’t know magic and have know idea how I summoned Venus; it was an accident!”

“*You* were an accident, halfbreed!” another voice shouted out.

“Yeah!” another one agreed, “If your Elven whore mother were as smart as she thinks, she wouldn’t have had you!”

“Yeah!”

“Get him!”

“Kill the mutt!”

Without further consideration, the mob rushed Evvo, weapons drawn. It was a futile effort, however, as Evvvo’s athletic frame and flexible form was perfectly suited to making hasty escapes and he avoided and dodged every clumsy attempt at a strike from the simple townsfolk.

“Venus...VENUS!” Ginna snapped, frowning in anger at the Succubus, “Are you listening to me!?”

Venus wasn’t, of course. Her attention had been turned back towards the marble-sized planet, not realizing that she and Ginna had gotten so big already.

“It seems those dirty mortals have taken advantage of our...disagreement.” Venus said, giving Ginna ‘the evil eye’, “Don’t worry, my master; *I* will protect you even though *other* people arne’t so interested in doing so.”

The mob stops and cowers in fear suddenly, as a curtain of darkness befell the entire planet. Ginna’s eyes widened in astonishment and her mouth opened in a silent gasp as Venus opened her mouth, wrapped her lips around the little, blue, marble and fit the planet perfectly between her fangs.

“Venus…” Ginna said, her eyes narrowing on the succubus and her voice dropping to a steady, even seriousness that chilled even the astronomically large succubus to the bone, “Take my boy, and my home, out of your mouth right now. This is *very* immature.”

In the darkness, Evvo’s ears heard nothing but screaming. Various members of the mob that was previously chasing him were now shaking and pointing at the perfectly white teeth hovering miles overhead, as far as the eye can see. Evvo registers none of this, however, as he basks in the warmth suffusing the air, and the unnaturally pleasant breath that was the cause of the warmth.

“You know, it really hurts that you hate me.” Evvo says sadly, emboldened by the rising joy he was feeling at the signs of Venus’ presence, “But I’ve never done anything to any of you, and *I’m* the one who makes sure Venus doesn’t hurt anybody and repairs any damage she causes. So… it would probably be *really* bad for all of you if you did anything to me…”

Looking at each other amongst themselves, the mob-turned-quivering-mass wasted no time in disbursing and running back into their homes to hide from the coming apocalypse. Sensing their dispersal, Venus put the planet back where it belonged and the light returned.
